Dorm Gourmet Meal is a comedic short film exploring the everyday culinary dilemmas of dorm life. With a playful tone, the film playfully critiques food culture and the absurdities of student life.

🏫 The D2 Beginning

Our story begins at D2, the dining hall at NYU Abu Dhabi. A student in traditional Emirati clothing (kandura) and a patterned baseball cap approaches the service station, ready to gather the foundation of his culinary experiment.

🛒 The Convenience Store Quest

From D2 to the convenience store, our aspiring chef methodically gathers his supplies: canned goods, Dairy Milk chocolate, bottled water, snacks, and an extra bread loaf.

🤔 The Moment of Truth

Standing in the modern dorm kitchen with tropical wallpaper, our chef faces the ultimate choice: open the Talabat app for food delivery, or create something extraordinary with unconventional cooking methods.
